Time seems to slow down as Jungkook approaches you. His head is down, obviously deep in thought as he walks. You try to act cool as you contemplate how to get him to look up at you. You don't need to talk to him or interfere with his private time; you just want to look into his eyes. Just then, two guys in black hoodies rush out of the alleyway behind Jungkook and rush towards him. You scream as they look like they are about to reach him. JK looks up in time to see you point and he whirls around. He has a split second to lift his leg and kick off one of the attackers as the second one slams into him, hurtling him forward. The two hooded men, realize you're there and are now a witness. They quickly pull down their hoods as Jungkook slams into you and they attackers run away. Both umbrellas fly out of your hands. JK's is tossed into the street and the yours behind you. The solid impact of his body as you both bounce off the sidewalk makes your teeth clack. Luckily you didn't bite your tongue, although you're not sure you could use it anyway. Time seems to almost halt as you watch the rain slowly collide with the side of his face, which hovers inches above yours. His eyes are closed as he winces and you would give anything to free him of pain. Even your own pain seems to vanish as you hold your breath, watching him open his eyes. His beautiful, mesmerizing eyes. This was all you wanted, yet more than you dreamed of, as his eyes lock on yours. You let out a shaky breath as water drips off his hair onto your cheek. "Are you hurt?" He asks, still clearly dazed himself.
