New Series Coming Soon! Get ready for the Xterran Time Chronicles!

I've been working on this series for the past two years. Book one is just about ready and I hope to have it published soon. What if we weren't alone in space? What if every fanciful race, mythological creature, and imaginary beast you've ever heard about were really aliens? And what if you woke up one morning to find out you were one too? Follow Ainslie as she discovers she is anything but ordinary on this epic, time-traveling space adventure adult romance series.

Amethyst breaks way to rose and peach-like swirls of sherbet dancing across the sky. The sun casts its golden rays giving everything in the courtyard a luminescent, ethereal glow. Xtopia was a shining example of all of Xterra's finest qualities, with its symbiotic structures gracefully depicting architecture from all of its diverse cultures. Blinding ivory spires point towards the eggplant-colored heavens and short bulbous shops nestle between them flowing harmoniously beside cerulean streams and fountains. Cobblestones glimmer like polished gemstones along the streets and walkways, contrasting spectacularly against the pale buildings and pastel skies.

Xtopia is the most visited sky city in Xterra, home of the Emperor, his council, and many influential wealthy families. Plainly put, anyone who is anyone either resides or frequents Xtopia regularly. If you are lucky enough to work in the capital of the Xterran Empire; a feat not easily obtained; you and your family are set for life, as positions are generally handed down based on familial reputation. Today, the city is bustling with such busybodies, scurrying to and fro as they complete their daily tasks.

On a balcony overlooking the main courtyard of Xtopia, Lady Empressa; also known intimately as Ainslie; is wrapped in a decadent cloak, sipping a steaming mug of something she can only compare to a mocha cappuccino, although the Xterran name escapes her. She has only just arrived in the capital city, having come straight from the Neophyte Galaxy. She shakes her head as she contemplates how her life has changed in such a few short hours; everything she knew about the universe had been wrong. She takes another sip of her drink, closing her eyes and sighing at its mildly familiar and soothing taste.

She sat dressed in clothes unfamiliar to her, staring out at a foreign city, preparing to meet the Emperor; a stranger who is also her father; and desperately trying not to gawk at the bizarre and extraordinary individuals who passed below her. Holding herself together was the hardest part. There were so many unknowns, so many questions, and so many fears. This is why she was meeting the Emperor, to gain the peace that eluded her.

She hid her frown behind her cup. If only Spaex's collar hadn't malfunctioned, then she might have still been sitting in her kitchen with Trent instead of here. Spaex, what a surprise that had been. One minute she was under the impression that he was just Apex, her guard dog, and the next thing she knew, she was staring into the face of a humanoid dog. He walked around like a man, with an elongated humanlike face and hands, but his body was also furry and dog-like. She shook her head as she pictured him in her mind. The collar that he had worn kept him in his commando form; his dog shape. He had looked exactly like a large human dog, an oversized Great Pyrenees to be exact.

Ainslie chewed her bottom lip thoughtfully. How many times had she whispered her darkest secrets to her faithful companion? Or buried her face in his furry neck as she wept? She sighed; knowing she would never have done such things if she had believed her dog had been anything more than a loyal and protective pet. Soft footsteps approaching from behind her brought Ainslie back out of her reverie.

New content in progress! Interactive Stories!

I want to create a story where the reader gets to decide how fast or slow the characters progress in their relationships. Because this is a new concept for my website and I'm having to build extra pages for each turn of events, it's going to take a little bit to get started. My thought was to create three stories and run with them using different characters inspired by real life famous people. Not sure if this is going to fly yet, but since it's not for profit... I've got my fingers crossed.

Bonus Story Deleted from The Fallen: Earthbound
The 2nd Generation from the Realm of Darkness
Referenced in Earthbound as Aeowynne’s Dream

Because this seemed too awkward, I decided to scrap the story. However… I put a lot of time into it and it could almost be a book in itself. I thought it would be fun to include it as bonus material since Aeowynne mentions the kids from her dream. It is raw and unedited, so please forgive the errors.

The Fallen: Earthbound (Book Two) ~ Now Available!

I could sense my eyes as if the world was a brilliant red and my ears began to ring loudly. There was also a whirring noise and I could hear Abasdarhon call me softly from the back of the room. "Aeowynne can you hear me?" I fluttered my eyes but they felt so heavy. The room was too bright, much brighter than it should have been and my head hurt. I groaned but my mouth didn't want to work. "She's waking up." I heard someone else say, but I couldn't tell who. What was happening? Why did my head hurt and what was that dreadful beeping?

I could feel someone touch my hand. "Her pulse is normal." Someone opened my eyelid, shining a bright light into my eye and I pulled my head away. "Did you see that? She moved! And we're getting pupil response." I reached my hand up towards my head but something had me tied up. I felt someone hold my hand down. "You have an IV in your hand. I know you are disoriented, just try to lay still." Abasdarhon's voice was soft in my ear. I turned my head towards him, trying to open my eyes to see him. I wrapped my fingers around his. "Bas..." The noises faded as I drifted back to sleep.

I could hear the sounds of a machine clicking and beeping softly. Was that a heart monitor? I listened to the slow rhythm; it must have been my heart. Was the baby alright? I tried to move my hand over my abdomen but I couldn't seem to do more than flinch. I managed to pry my eyes part way open. What the hell was wrong with me? The room was bright and I squinted. Someone hit the light switch darkening the room. "Is that better?" I managed to blink several times, focusing on the room around me. I was definitely in a hospital. When did we get a hospital? Why didn't Dardariel just heal me?

Whoever had been talking to me touched my hand. "Miss Greeley can you hear me?" I wrinkled my forehead trying to focus. That was Abasdarhon I would know his voice anywhere, but why was he calling me by my last name? "Bas?" He crossed the room sitting down in the chair by the bed. "Why are you calling me Bas? Do you know me?" I squinted harder bringing his face into focus. "Abasdarhon, Bas. That's your name." He frowned and shook his head. "No Miss Greeley. My name is Sebastian, I'm your nurse."

Why is it so hard to keep a story on track?

My current work in progress has been my hardest, longest and most enjoyable story to write. Unfortunately it has taken several major plot twists that have changed the heart of the tale and leave me with a yet to be finished product. I love each twist and wish to lose none of them, yet know that all great stories have bits of untold tales left out in deleted scenes. I think I'm going to add some bonus material for my readers at the end of this book to keep these fanciful imaginings alive.

How much is too much and when is it too little?

Being a hopeless romantic, I get lost in my own stories and never want them to end. I want the perfect happily ever after, the best man to win, the bad guys to get theirs in the end and everything to be perfect. But how do you know when your just kicking a dead horse? Or when have you said just enough to leave someone wanting and never fully satisfied?
